problem
The challenge was taking Andrew Morrison's collection of Vancouver chef recipes and reimagining it into something visually fresh and exciting.
solution
The goal was to redesign the cookbook in a way that felt modern, typographically driven, and fun while still honoring the heart of the original content and the talented chefs behind it.
Fresh Sheets is a curated cookbook featuring a collection of recipes from some of Vancouver's finest chefs, written by Andrew Morrison. The book takes readers through a full dining experience, covering appetizers, entrees, and desserts with a focus on elevated Italian and English cuisines. From rich pasta dishes to beautifully crafted mains and indulgent desserts, every recipe feels like a restaurant quality experience brought to your own kitchen.

The design of the book reflects the same care and intention found in its recipes, with a warm and earthy color palette of greens, browns, and beiges that nod to fresh and wholesome ingredients. Typography was a big part of bringing the book to life, with Antina gracing the cover, Masqualero leading the headers, and Baskerville carrying the body text for a reading experience that feels as refined and elegant as the food itself.
