Candy Mag is a Filipino teen magazine aimed at teens and young adults, but despite its fun concept it was not reaching the audience it deserved. The visual design felt stuck in the past in all the wrong ways, relying on muted and uninspiring colors that did little to grab attention. The overall look and feel simply did not match the vibrant and energetic aesthetic that a teen magazine should have.

To bring Candy Mag back to life, the redesign focused on making everything feel current and relevant by pulling from fresh and up to date resources that truly reflect what teens and young adults are into today. The color palette was given a complete overhaul, swapping out the dull and muted tones for something bold and vibrant that actually matches the energy of its audience. Eye catching and exciting graphics were brought in to give the magazine that lively and dynamic feel that a teen publication should have. The result was a reimagined Candy Mag that finally looks and feels like the fun and engaging magazine it was always meant to be.
